QuiBids Austria
Even though this post is titled QuiBids Austria, it’s not the only new market it’s opened its doors to. Over the past year, QuiBids has worked hard to expand its services to additional markets. After having launched in Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, QuiBids wanted to continue to make more footprints around the world.
In January of this year, QuiBids launched its services in France and Germany. In late February, they opened its doors to Austria. Although smaller markets for QuiBids, things have started off on the right foot. It constantly works to enhance its model to be the premier entertainment retail auction site there is and continues to strive at giving the best customer experience ever. Now, more markets are able to take advantage of the entertainment shopping fun for the best products, as well as having the opportunity to engage in QuiBids Games and earn Badges.
Not only is QuiBids open in these markets, but they also are beginning to stretch out their customer support and service across their Facebook and Twitter. Its English, French and German customer support representatives are available all week, every week to answer any questions you may have. They can be reached via the customer support phone line, email or even Live Chat.
Gift Lists on QuiBids
QuiBids is known not only as a great place to shop to get deals for products for yourself, but another venue for gift shopping for all your friends and family! They have deals and promotions circling around most of the main holidays, acknowledge great gift ideas via their social channels, but just recently they introduced a revamped Gift Lists page on their site.
Gift Lists on QuiBids include items in every category but that are grouped based on the kinds of products relative to what consumers likes may be. For instance, if you have a friend who loves camping, you just might head over to the For the Outdoorsman gift list. Or if you know your mom loves baking/cooking, you might just find the next best thing for her in the Chef’s Corner gift list.
There’s a reason why QuiBids has an A- rating with the BBB and that they’re considered the best online entertainment retail auction. They never stop evolving their site and services! They’re constantly coming up with new, innovative and creative ways to make the customer experience that much more enjoyable.
Follow them on Facebook and check out the Gift Lists today!
At this time, these particular gift lists are relative to the U.S. market only.
QuiBids at SXSW
QuiBids has attended the SXSWi Conference the past three years, having always had a small sponsorship at The Buffalo Lounge. The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce and the Idea Collective came together this year to put together an Oklahoma booth at the SXSW trade show as well as a venue on the popular 6th street in downtown Austin.
This year, QuiBids had a sponsorship and sent two of its employees out to enjoy the festivities, attend some sessions and set up a small shop at The Buffalo Lounge. They even had some QuiBids’ swag at the venues. The swag consisted of smart device screen cleaners that also gave out a coupon code for free bids.
QuiBids sent out notices of their attendance at the conference the week prior via their Facebook page, so should have any QuiBidders been in the area, QuiBids would’ve wanted to meet up with them. Additional information on QuiBids part in the Oklahoma festivities, see The Daily Oklahoman blog.
QuiBids says they enjoy the SXSW conference and hope to do something big someday! If you attend SXSW, you may want to keep in the know with QuiBids in the event they host an awesome event in the future. What event or activities do you think QuiBids should do at SXSW? Let us know below!
Check the Blog for Bids – Week 2
Last week we mentioned the Check the Blog for Bids contest QuiBids is hosting. Last week’s code for two free bids ended up being QBlog. However, don’t go onto QuiBids trying to use this code because QBlog is now inactive since they’re already mid-week with the second week’s code hints.
If you’re into contests and having fun, you’ll more than likely enjoy this one. So far, this week’s hints (or revealed letters) include S, P and I. Stay tuned to see what the last two letters of this week’s code are via QuiBids blog. Rumor has it this week’s code will give out four free bids! Or if you’re just looking for every day good deals, feel free to read up on the Big Savings list on QuiBids. It was implemented not too long ago to serve customers with better deals on a variety of popular products from multiple categories.
Do you like gamification? QuiBids has many ways it implements gamification into its auction model and one of those ways includes their Badges. Be sure to check out some of their newest Badges: Black Hawk Down Badge, the 5,000th Bid Badge, the 10,000th Bid Badge and the 25,000th Bid Badge.
There’s always something new at QuiBids whether it be a Badge, a contest or products in general. To leave suggestions for the site, you can always visit their Facebook page and/or write in to their customer support at support@quibids.com.
Buy Bids on QuiBids Facebook
Just this week, QuiBids implemented another app on its Facebook page to serve as an area where you can either sign up or to simply purchase more bids for your account. While visiting the QuiBids Facebook page, click on the present icon that represents the Start Bidding app.
The app gives a brief description of how to go about their services, whether you’re a newbie or a returning customer. If interested in a more thorough description of the site’s services, you can always check out their Help or QuiBids101 sections. To take a look at the other activities they provide on their Facebook page, just click the down arrow to the right of the icons to reveal all their additional apps. You can learn how to gain free bids, points for being the Top QuiBidder, get the latest on monthly promotions and more!
This new Start Bidding app is provided simply as another way to buy bids or sign up for QuiBids. If you’re a new customer, you will need to purchase the initial Bid Pack of $60, however, once you’re a returning customer, you can login and purchase other Bid Pack options. The app links you back to the site, but prior to that, you had to go directly to the site to access these pages. By making the login/signup available in more places, it should give a little more convenience to the customer.
What other apps do you think should be on the QuiBids Facebook page?
Check the Blog for Bids
It’s a new month and QuiBids is at it again. This time, they’re giving away free bids all month long through their company blog. On top of that, you could win an Apple iPad mini! Their March promotion is what they call Check the Blog for Bids and is a fun way to host a contest for just that, free bids!
Here’s how it works. There are three contests, one for this week, next week (March 11-15), and the following one (March 18-22). And yes, participants can return each week to use each week’s free bids and enter for a chance to win a prize, again, each week!
Each week’s contest works the same way – QuiBids will post a single-letter update each day, so at the end of each work week you’ll have five unordered letters. Those five letters will spell out a QuiBids-centric code for you to unscramble and enter into the form that’s provided on their blog. Enter the code correctly and you’ll earn some Free Bids. But be sure to do it before the next week starts as the code will only work from Friday to Sunday the week that it’s issued. After Sunday, it will be invalid. Throughout the course of the contest, QuiBids will give out hints via their online social profiles and their blog. So don’t miss them!
The first hint they’ve given is that each code has a “Q” in it.
In order to submit for a chance to win one of their weekly prizes, you’ll have to enter in the code correctly into that week’s submission form. Each week’s prizes are:
- Week 1 prize: a $25 gift card of your choice
- Week 2 prize: a $50 gift card of your choice
- Week 3 prize: an iPad Mini
QuiBids has been a hard-working entertainment retail auction site since its launch in 2009. We know they strive to be the best in their industry not just because of their BBB rating, but by the way they operate and continually provide ways for their customers to engage with them. Read the Check the Blog for Bids press release here.
Have fun with the Check the Blog for Bids contest and happy bidding!
QuiBids Store in Canada!
You may recall the QuiBids Store that launched in November of last year. QuiBids Store is the traditional ecommerce side to QuiBids entertainment. “How is it still entertaining,” you may ask, “if it’s traditional ecommerce?” Good question. It’s still entertaining because whatever you buy in the QuiBids Store, automatically gives you X number of free bids that you can use towards the auction side. However, that’s not the purpose of this post!
QuiBids recently launched its Store to the Canadian market! Now Canadian customers are able to enjoy the traditional, yet fun, shopping just as the United States market does. Whether you’re in the United States or Canada, you can see the once said ‘auction’ tab now says ‘Browse.’ This will show you a drop down for products on the auction side or below that, in the Store. Once you choose a product and land on what we call its Product Page, you’ll see the opportunity to where you can just buy it outright or see when it’s up for auction. You may want to check out this blog post on How QuiBids Store and auctions complement each other.
QuiBids is more reliable and safer than any other auction site and is accredited by the Better Business Bureau with an A- rating. Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date on all the latest feature updates! For the latest press release on opening the Store in Canada, read here.
For those who are new to the QuiBids Store, enjoy! And tell us what you think!
Last Week to Vote with your Heart
Each week during the month of February, QuiBids hosted a Vote with your Heart promotion where you could vote on your favorite product out of a particular category, as well as entering for a chance to win that week’s product winner. You can see the details from QuiBids Facebook or from its blog.
The previous week’s winner was Anita B. having won the T-Fal Signature 12-Piece Cookware Set. Now’s your last opportunity/week to try for your chance to be the next winner! This last week’s products up for vote are a Garmin Nuvi Portable GPS Navigator, an Aluratek Digital Photo Frame, Tim McGraw Headphones and a Peavey Acoustic Guitar.
Rumor has it that QuiBids implements a new activity or promotion every month, so should you miss out on this month’s fun, don’t fret. We still have the rest of 2013 to enjoy with the best online bidding site! To date, what has your favorite activity on QuiBids been? The Halloween Hunt from October 2012, the 12 Days of QuiBids or activities done on Facebook? If you’re not familiar with these promotions, you may just want to try QuiBids today and get a feel for everything they do!
April Fool’s is just around the corner. We wonder what QuiBids has up its sleeves for this holiday…
Groundhog Hunting
Since QuiBids implemented its Games, customers have been playing and loving them ever since! After all, it is the most fun online bidding site there is! QuiBids’ Games vary per market, but there are some Games that are shared across all. Groundhog Hunting is one of them.
Groundhog Hunting was the first skill-based game QuiBids launched. It’s given a user rating of four out of five stars, a skill level of a four out of five and takes an average of two minutes to play. As with all QuiBids Games, you can win bids by playing, but in particular to this game, you can win bids by whacking groundhogs before the timer runs out. So, it’s a race against the clock and those groundhogs! Not only is it a race, but you’ll have to watch out for any tricky groundhogs that take away time and/or bids!
You could win anywhere from a couple to over 65 bids playing Groundhog Hunting. Be sure to check out the leader board on the game page to see some of the more recent winners.
Besides the game itself, here are a few tidbits to know:
- All bids won with QuiBids Games are always Voucher Bids
- Multipliers – these multiply the number of bids you win in a single Gameplay and they come in 1x, 2x and 5x. For example, if you won 50 bids with a 1x Gameplay, you win 50 bids. If you won 50 bids with a 2x Gameplay, you would win 100 bids.
- If you come out with negative bids from playing a QuiBids Game, this does NOT affect your account of real bids.
Have you played Groundhog Hunting? What were the most bids you scored? Let us know!
As with all QuiBids Games, no purchase is necessary. See rules for details.
Exec Chat
Have you ever had questions about certain features on QuiBids you’d like answered by one of the top executives? QuiBids has a stellar Customer Support team, but this week, they implemented something a little extra – Exec Chat. CFO, Jeff Geurts, was on the QuiBids Facebook today Friday, February 15, at 2pm CST to answer as many questions as he could within an hour’s time period.
Exec Chat came about knowing customers appreciated when a couple of the executives formerly commented to some posts. They wanted to provide another way to show customers that they care about our customers’ feedback and to help shed some light on anything QuiBids related they may not have known otherwise.
If interested, be sure to post your own question or simply head on over to the Facebook page to see the responses to the questions already posted. There are plans to continue Exec Chat in the future (If you missed this first one, don’t worry) so keep in mind this is a time to answer questions and in a conversation format. It’s not a time to rant or attack the company. Any personal attacks or use of inappropriate language will be deleted. Should you have questions regarding your personal account, be sure to contact QuiBids support at support@quibids.com and they’ll be happy to help!
Tell us what you think of Exec Chat. What questions do you have that you’d like answered?
